Travel: How to save money on Everyday travel! (Part One)

Every day we travel be it from our home, walking our children to the bus,
shopping, running errands or meeting friends. We use the bus, the bike,
our feet, the cars and more.
Travel is something we do everyday.
So how can we save some money in our everyday travel?
How can you save some money, put it back into your pockets and get
ahead in todays economy? Sometimes it comes down to the basics.
How your health is, how far the place from your home, easiest method
to get there etc.
If for instance you enjoy walking, then you can easily put the children in the pram, or grab the dog on a leash and walk to the shop for your milk and bread.
Same goes for work - if possible combine some extra walking in your routine to get to work.
If you catch a bus, and time permits get off earlier . Wear some sneakers or comfortable walking shoes and walk that little bit to get some exercise.
You may be able to walk the children to school if close enough. Or if there are some friends in your area whose children go to the same school/area organize a car pool. Now could be a good as time as any to start one.
These ideas are not new or original.
You can be as creative as you like with these
suggestions.
One payoff would be getting fitter and feeling better about you.
Part Two to come next week when we look at other forms of travel.
Have a wonderful day,
Susan Connors
PS: The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step!
