How did you do on last years resolutions?

I would say I did much better on environmental resolutions than I did on personal ones? Particularly because I hate resolutions. However, I think Beth Terry of Oakland, CA and the Fake Plastic Fish website takes the cake on completing and documenting her 2009 Plastic Resolution.

Ms. Terry has vowed to eliminate plastic from her life. She has collected the plastic she has used over the past year and has produced this neat video up on youtube.com: Plastic Fish Video

She has some great idea nuggets in this video on how you too, can reduce plastic usage. Which ones do you think you can use and will use in the comming year?

In dealing with our personal times of economic struggle it is critical to remember the gifts and advantages we do have and where we can, share our abundance with others.

President Obama and many of our leaders and wise women and men in our lives are right when they say the only way we will be able to survive and thrive is by working together and taking care of each other no matter what differences in religion, race, politics, gender or background may exist between us.
